How Stablecoin Payments works
1. Hold stablecoins with Bitkaya
Maintain supported USDC or USDT in your Bitkaya business custody account.
2. Upload your invoice
Submit the invoice or supporting documentation for the business expense you want to settle.
Provide:
- beneficiary name
- Curaçao bank account details
- XCG amount
- invoice or reference number
- payment purpose
- supporting documentation
3. Submit your payment instruction
Select the stablecoin balance you want to use and confirm the XCG amount that needs to be settled.
Bitkaya calculates the amount of stablecoins required based on the applicable Stablecoin Payments purchase rate.
4. Bitkaya purchases your stablecoins
Bitkaya acts as principal and purchases the required amount of USDC or USDT from your business. The agreed XCG purchase price becomes payable to your company.
5. Bitkaya settles the invoice
At your instruction, Bitkaya settles the resulting XCG purchase price directly to the approved Curaçao beneficiary.
6. Track the completed payment
Each transaction record links:
- the stablecoin sale
- the invoice
- the beneficiary
- the XCG amount
- the settlement reference
- the payment status
This gives your finance and compliance teams a clear record of every payment.
Stablecoin custody, execution and payments in one process
When your business submits a payment instruction, Bitkaya purchases the required stablecoins from your company as principal at the applicable purchase rate.
The resulting XCG amount represents the purchase price payable by Bitkaya to your company.
Your company then instructs Bitkaya to settle that purchase price directly to the approved beneficiary.
Stablecoin Payments does not provide a general-purpose XCG payment account or reusable fiat balance.
Each payment remains linked to a specific stablecoin sale.
Indicative pricing
Final pricing is determined in quotation based on specific client requirements. Excluding 6% OB if applicable.
